This stuff is awesome it's shrinking ratio is excellent I almost want to say it shrinks more than 4:1 and the double wall and adhesive inside coating insures a good protection that stays securely in place!

I used a couple on a welding wire (leads). The fact that they have glue is great, they water proof the damaged area.

This tubing is well constructed and does appear to shrink at a 4:1 ratio, which will tightly bind wiring on headphones and connectors and other frequently used electrical products prone to loosening with heavy use. But I have learned to not overdo the heat Gun or risk doing more harm than good to sound sensitive equipment like headphones, portable players, etc.. If used correctly and carefully this product will give your wiring and musical equipment much longer life to keep producing clear music without constant static from loose wiring connections. The multiple and varied sizes also helps to insure the best possible tight fit .

It really does shrink up 4:1 and seems to be a quality product, used it to repair automotive sensor wires, USB cables and some marine connections, very happy with this

I received the kit in great shape with all the expected components.These tubing is easy to work with: cut with small pair of craft scissors and shrunk quickly using a heat gun.I used these to create a closed loops for some nike shoes with different sizes of shoestrings, so the ranges of tube sizes came in handy. The closed loop system has lasted for 3 days now with daily wear of one of the pairs.I also used this to create a sealed aglet (cap an end) after shortening shoelaces for a pair of boots. Again, this was accomplished very easily. The only drawback here is that, despite using the smallest diameter tubing, the new aglet is slightly larger than the factory end. It is too large to fit into the narrow eyelets for the laces. This is not a big deal for me as I left the laces in place and there is still one end with the factory end cap that would work for relacing the boots. So if you intend to use this to cap off two ends of shoelace, the diameter of the end cap will be slightly larger than found on most shoelaces. This is probably only and issue for certain shoes with small aperture eyelets, but be aware of this.I will certainly use this kit for other projects in the future.

Nice thick adhesive lined tubing. The variety of sizes in a nice container is amazing. Keeps it all sorted and easy to use. The shrink is great quality and makes a much more permanent sealed connection over standard heat sharing. Works well , looks good in its case and is user friendly.
