THESE THINGS ARE BRILLIANT. 120/240. Lo Power. They fit thru the knockouts on electrical boxes perfectly. i have installed them on all my electric baseboard heaters so I can tell when they are on, hot water tank, heaters, all over the place. Saves a lot of time

These are advertised to work at 240V and 120V. However, in the interest of limiting the current suitably for 240V, the series resistor is too high for reasonable brightness at 120V.

I'm building an electric beer brewing control panel with 12V, 120V & 240V. I figured I'd be able to use 120V for all of my indicators so I ordered these. I ended up not using them, but I did test them at 120V because I was worried they'd be dim since they arrived saying 220V. NO PROBLEM, THEY'RE GREAT AT 120V! So great that I decided to keep them for my next random need for a panel light. I'll test them at 240V for the heck of it and probably use one to indicate when my well pump is on.
