I like these better than the metal lids that are used for canning. I don’t can but I use ball jars for storing or freezing food. The lids are nice but the little rubber gasket that comes with them is a bit of a pain. They sent a tool to use to get them in and out of the lids which was nice. I may need to get used to taking them in and out. I think it’s a bit cumbersome. I like the colors. They do what I need them to do.

The colors are cool, they are not rigid plastic, they are softer with a bit of give. Both sizes fit perfectly! They look great in my cupboard and I got rid of all the metal that gets rust and spots and all the boxes that don't keep food airtight. Better for my food, better for me! I don't know if they are leakproof as I didn't put anything wet in them. I got them for dry storage and am VERY happy!

Sturdy plastic, bright colors. Very easy to screw on tightly. Both regular and wide mouth mason jar sizes are included. They are NOT meant for canning, I use them for dry goods like chocolate chips, nuts, or leftovers to store in the refrigerator.

Love to color, it pairs well with my blue jars. You get both regular and wide mouth jar lids. They come with seals to keep the food fresh in the jars. They function well, I am using these lids mostly for cleaning supplies and non food items. Plastic does not rust so they can hold soaps and chemicals easily. The lids come off and screw on very easily. The price point is good for the amount of lids you get.

I recently got two 1/2 gallon Ball Jars for Sweet Tea & Lemonade I made. I didn’t want to use the metal lids that came with the jars. I bought these plastic lids to use with all my Ball jars I have (I use them regularly for all sorts of things)The lids were packed together in a box. The silicone rings need to be placed in each lid. Not difficult at all. (There’s a little scoop tool to make removing the rings for cleaning, easier)I love all the colors! They’re bright and very pretty! (think of childrens toys. The vibrancy of each color)The thickness of the lids are high quality. They’re sturdy and fit the jars perfectly.The price was good as I always look for a deal.These lids don’t leak. I shook & shook and still no leaks. They are easy to take on & off too.I recommend these and will be repurchasing if needed.

We use a lot of glass containers in this house and ball wide mouth and regular sized jars are constantly being used. The metal tops always rust or start to get funky. If you’re not canning or using for non-edible storage the metal tops might be okay for you. But I recommend these lids. They’re easy to clean, last a long time and if you use the provided o ring inserts (yes you do have to install that yourself) they will create an air seal and a leak proof cap. No more 2 piece lids or worrying about how I store or clean the metal lids. These are a colorful solution for us!
