We have very low-pile rugs, and this tool doesn't really work for us. Frankly, I'm concerned about damaging the fibers when I use this thing. Maybe it's better for longer hair cats or higher pile carpets, but for our home it wasn't a win.

Ever get that call that someone is going to stop by unexpectedly and you rush to do a "10 second tidy" so your guests don't think you're slobs? This pet hair rake is perfect for a quick pick up of my German Shepherd's hair without breaking out the vacuum. Assembly was a snap by simply screwing the poles together and the small brush that is included is great for now but I don't think it will last long term due to the hair release piece being a cheaper plastic. The only other thing that annoys me is the top tip keeps coming off when used. I will solve this with simply using some glue to keep it in place. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives and was happy overall with this pet hair rake.

I love the variety of tools that come with this rake. There is a pet hair brush that works really well. It grabs more hair is it brushes through my dog's thick, long coat and then has a release so I can easily grab the hair out of the bristles and throw it away. The small carpet rake tool works perfectly for my stairs and car upholstery. It's small and easy to use. The carpet rake itself doesn't grab the hair as easily as I was hoping, but it still works well to get the job done. I find my vacuum works more efficiently for those larger areas.

This is such a cool tool to clean rugs as it picks up dog hair. I love that it can pick up a good amount of dog hair in shaggy rugs and it does a better job than my portable vacuum. The only downside is that it did not pick up as much of the dog hair for my thin carpet. However the rake part picked up most of the dirt. Overall it does a good job for most carpets.

I ordered the Neatevday 2 in 1 Carpet Rake and it looks like it was in the picture. The rake arrived and minor assembly of the handle was required which I did myself in less than 2 minutes. The handle/pole is long enough so that there is no need to bend down; I was easily able to go over the carpet. I was even able to get into corners. This is a useful tool to have and I rate it a 4.5 out of 5.
