they wont stick on textured walls and it will rip the paint. if you arent careful and the rods fall it will rip the paint. they do not adhere for very long to textured walls.

I use these in my office to hold up my curtains. They applied easily, have stayed in place, and the stickiness is excellent!! Zero issues after using for almost a year now! 10/10 recommend!

I used this product to hang curtains in my living room and dining room. I follow the directions to clean the wall first and let it dry and then apply the sticky side to the wall. I waited 24 hours before hanging my curtains, and when I came home from work everything had fallen down and also had pulled paint completely off my walls in sections. Definitely would not recommend. Actually if I could get my money back for this I would.

Easy to mount and strong enough to hold my wife's heavy curtains. Used the adhesive plus the screw mounts for added hold. Fits perfectly for most rods and you can hide it behind the curtain for clean look. Will use this product moving forward whenever we need to hang new curtains or redo existing ones.

Once these babies stick, especially to dry wall, they’re not coming off without a bit of paint attached. However, if you don’t mind patching when/if you remove them, they’re very sturdy. I put up another set of curtains with the included metal brackets and my cat was able to pull the brackets right out of the wall while playing in the curtains. I replaced the brackets with these hooks and I’ve had zero issues since. They’re a little tricky to line up since they’re so big, but once they’re up, you barely notice them. I will never use anything else. I HATE putting up curtains the traditional way!

My apartment building didn’t come with a curtain rod, only blinds. I work nights so I have to use blackout curtains, the blinds weren’t enough. I used to have a tension rod but it would keep falling from my cat sitting on the curtains. This holds very well! If a 14 pound cat can sit on the curtain and pull it enough, I say it works very well! The installation was super easy. I am unsure if it’s renter friendly (ie rips paint off) but it seems to be very sticky, so I think I’ll leave it for the next tenant.

I have old plaster walls, and I hate hanging anything that requires nails or screws. I purchased these in clear and installed 6 of them in just minutes. The adhesive is very strong so, if you make a mistake, it will be difficult to remove. Something to keep in mind is that there is only about a 1/2 inch between the wall and the part that clips around the curtain rod, which could interfere with the movement of the curtain (opening/closing) if you place them on the wall - the curtains may hang too tightly against the frame of the window. I hope I'm explaining that correctly. I stuck mine on the window frame to avoid that problem.
