Rod fell off the wall even before curtains were installed!

Ordered a set of these a few months back and one side quit sticking to the wall. I ordered a replacement (I like the way they hang and they were a perfect fit for the space, but the replacement lasted less than a week. The adhesive doesn't hold up or last, even with light weight rods & curtains.

These brackets work very well for me. I knew to clean the application area with alcohol, then apply the adhesive and WAIT 24 hours before hanging curtains. It's pretty simple but I can only guess why some reviewers aren't having success. As someone mentioned, verify if your wall material is compatible too.I will definitely buy again.

Convenient, great idea, however, they didn’t hold my curtains, the adhesive gave way. I put glue on the one that came loose, and it’s staying in place. The other one,I went ahead and placed glue behind it as well because, I figured it would just be a matter of time. Rods and curtains aren’t real heavy, so not sure why I had that issue, but all is good now. Perfect for anyone that doesn’t like hanging curtains.

I appreciate the fact that these rod holders are adhesive however, two of them broke with very little to no force. I ended up super gluing them back together in order to be able to use them and not have to return. They have held up well, but keep in mind they are very cheaply made and break easily. They do have a nice esthetic look to them.

I don’t typically write these but I gave this product a try despite the relatively low rating because of the color mainly. Have had issue with getting things to stick on the dry wall oddly but do favor adhesive over drilling and such.So the review…they work very well. I wiped wall, placed and waited a day and all that just to give best try. Have been holding now with basic rod and lighter weight curtains for a couple weeks. Why I am posting is I actually had to remove a couple after a couple weeks just because of misplacing them, but the ones I removed had firm hold with me pulling very firmly on them. I mean firm tug. To remove them, I maintained strong pull and worked on one corner with hair dryer as noted. I took my time but took about a minute of steady pull and the heat on the adhesive, but watched it uncouple from the drywall. Had one small area pull off a chunk of dry wall but was actually surprised. With how stuck it was, expected worse. All in all, while not professional looking if you are one to analyze people’s homes…you are probably not someone looking here anyway. I think they look excellent, do the job and now feel like I won’t have a big issue when I move…although get yourself a proper step stool because trying to do it with arm extended overhead is going to hurt.
