As for if you can not plug into the base, it does not matter, as long as you plug in a little bit, and the chalkboard can stand up.

Great!!! All Items arrived on the ETA Date on the order, but a few of my Plastic Serving Containers were cracked; i assume during shipping. Other than that, I'm pleased with my purchase.

The markers are pretty good. They are easy to use and look great. They are kind of top heavy, making them unstable. The biggest issue is with the pegs fitting in hole on the stand. Several didn’t fit. Very versatile. Haven’t had to clean them.

These mini signs are easy to assemble and the markers work very well. I like that it comes with backup stickers so if you need to relabel you don’t waste one. They do blow over easily if used outdoors.

Had to shorten the sticks a bit which was easy enough. Came with the markers and worked perfect for my cookie tray. Good quality and a good price.

I do catering and I bought these as a cute way to label the meals. Love that you can “erase” them and use them again and again. Great purchase.

I needed signs to label the food I was serving at my family reunion. These mini chalkboards were exactly what I needed. The chalkboards are small; however, I was able to write everything I wanted on them with the colorful pens that came with this set. Also, if you make a mistake when you are writing on the chalkboard, all you have to do is (with a wet paper towel) wipe and dry it off. They are very easy to assemble and seem relatively sturdy. I love these chalkboards so much that I am sure I will order another set just to have as a back up.
