I highly recommend these except for very young children. I offered toys and candy to trick-or-treaters, and many children - even the older ones - chose toys. Many different characters and all are entertaining when wound up and released.

Fabulously broad selection of small wind-up toys. I will be adding these to our expanding family collection. All kinds of movements and jumping figures. A Treasure trove of small windup toys. I think these are suitable for ages 4 and up(I'm 69).

Overall it's huge fun with littles. Some were not working when we opened the box and some broke easily. However, the amount of fun we have with them makes it worth while. You hardly notice if you throw 5-8 away!

We bought these for small quick distraction toys with our one year old. They are small and easily transportable in a diaper bag. We have used them waiting in the doctor's office, baseball practice, and out to dinner. They keep his attention for 10-15 minutes, which is great for a 1 year old.I did take off a star because some of them did not work well straight out of the box. It was almost like they were wound too tight or couldn't be wound tight enough. We had about 5 with this issue. The key to wind them up is also small and harder for my husband to turn with his larger fingers. With all of the small parts and I'm not sure how well they are put together, I think small children need to be supervised while using them.

Bought this for my autistic son who lives in another state. Told he enjoys them and work quite well. After a while they usually wear out, but think he will enjoy them for a while.
