I got these for my 2 year old. When you wind them up the tail does move but it doesn't make the mermaid swim. They just kind of stay in place and appear to (for lack of a better description) have convulsions. She still enjoys playing with them both in and out of the bath though which is what matters most at the end of the day so still wanted to give a good rating

They look good but the cranks dont last. I dont think its been a year and none of tye cranks work. I woupd bot buy again. The pictures are accurate rhough; size, color, etc.
