This was an easy mod to do on my Epiphone Sg, it widened to tonal ranges when rolling the tone & volume controls together. It was very inexpensive too.

These USA-made Mallory capacitors should please most guitar tinkerers. They are expensive compared to the standard disc-type caps. I got the .047s, which are very commonly used for bass and guitar wiring, and installed one to replace the cheap cap in my Epiphone SG Bass. It works well, but let's be honest here: most people will not be able to hear much difference. Nevertheless, there's something to be said for using the highest quality components for your guitar wiring project. This is a package of two, so I'll have an extra one to use sometime. Buy these if you're one who insists on the higher end.

Great for swapping out the capacitor in an existing guitar circuit to try different values or types of capacitors, or for building a new guitar volume and tone circuit.Great quality and good sounding.Nice that heat shrink tubing is supplied with these capacitors as well!
