My turtle loves it! After trying for the first time I notice he stated shedding so I guess he needed it?I did not give him the backing but unsure if I can or not?

I purchased this product for an aquatic turtle. He likes the chips but the powder is definitely unusable. Been having issues with ups in our area. I blame the condition of this product on them.

They are like 4-5” long. I think pet store ones are like 7-8. Appear good quality. Just smaller than I thought but still good.

My review is primarily for land snail owners:I bought this cuttlebone as a calcium source for my little cornu aspersum land snail. He is absolutely loving it and rasps on it when he needs nutrients for his shell. This is truly an all-natural cuttlebone, as snails will refuse to touch fake cuttlebone with the additives found in pet store brands.This product comes with two, 3-4 inch bones in a small box. Mine did not arrive broken, but it will still do the trick if broken as long as your snail has constant access to it. Just lay it down in the tank with the "soft" side facing upwards, and you're good to go. Yellowing or other discoloration is no cause for alarm; it is just the natural imperfections of the bone.

I was disappointed that these were so small especially with the waste of the large packaging. I used to buy fresh, large plump ones from a great pet store in Calgary, but it’s impossible to find any like that here on the east coast. They’re always packaged and who knows how old they are. These two are better than some, but I’d still like to find the larger ones. My parrots don’t do anything with them like my smaller birds did, but they’re a good source of calcium so I put them in my blender and sprinkle over their food. Still good to have.
