Got these to use on trips but ran into some issues. When shut off it doesn't remember devices it's been connected to so it makes it frustrating.

If you found this Bluetooth adapter by accident buy it now or bookmark, or click the Amazon "Save for Later" option. I am darn sure you did not find it by looking up the brand name or the maker/seller. I have never heard of these guys, but they have a good thing here. I have been using and buying BT adapters for years and this one has the best bang for the dollar yet. I really like having an mp3 option on my adapters. I frequently use them as stand alone mp3 players, leaving the included adapter in the car radio, plug in a pair of headphones and continuing my book or music after parking. They are really meant to link a phone to the car via Bluetooth, and I do this too, but I like having the option of inserting and using a MicroSD (TF) card and playing tracks without bothering my phone. This unit, unlike many others, can switch with the push of a button, switch between Bluetooth function or TF card and indicate that choice by blue light confirming BT or TF with a switch of a blue led (you will see it when you do it). You can also choose to have this unit transmit or receive via Bluetooth by selecting a TX or Rx switch on the side of this compact postage stamp size unit. As I am writing this, I am listening to this unit broadcasting a movie soundtrack recording I put on a TF/MicroSD card to my new Bluetooth speaker. It is works and sounds great. It employs the latest Bluetooth 5.4. This is probably the reason for uninterrupted connection, long long battery life, great sound and fast, solid and easy too. If you need Bluetooth broadcast or reception to turn your radio, speaker or sound system into a BT machine you want this. Especially if you appreciate the advantage of having a good simple mp3 player. This is the one to get. It works. It is also priced so low it is a real steal.

I’ve been using this to watch tv on my Bluetooth headphones on my PlayStation 5. It works reasonably well, though it’s not perfect. There isn’t much audio delay, so I think it would even work for gaming as long as it wasn’t something too face paced. I’ve never had the audio fully drop on me, but it does skip just a little bit sometimes. The skips are fine for watching tv or probably podcasts, but I could see it being annoying if you were trying to listen to music.Note you do have to charge this thing (via USB C). It works even when it’s plugged in to a power adapter, so I always just leave it plugged in. I’m not actually sure how long the battery lasts, because I’ve never tried to use it long enough without a power adapter for it to die. Also, note this does not come with a USB power adapter, which is needed to actually charge the battery and use it, so you’ll need to supply your own.Connecting and using this thing is NOT intuitive. There are a few different modes, including transmitting and receiving, and it took me a while to figure them all out. The instructions are ok, but written in broken English. I’ve only used the “line output” mode, which basically lets you connect a Bluetooth device to something that usually has a 3.5mm audio output. The buttons are also very small and hard to use, and it’s easy to press the wrong thing.A couple more complaints: for whatever reason the audio doesn’t get very loud using this thing. Maybe that’s a problem with PlayStation rather than this device though, I’m not sure. I know for sure though that my headphones are capable of much louder, because they can get very loud when connected to other devices. Also, it isn’t super easy to get this thing to connect to your Bluetooth device/headphones. It works ok, but there isn’t any display, so it’s a little bit of just guess and check until you get it right. As for durability, it seems reasonably tough. I’m not worried about accidentally dropping it or something.Right now this thing is listed for about $7, which I think is a good deal for what it does, despite its flaws. Because of that I’m still giving it a pretty high rating, even though it isn’t perfect.
