Tho it looks and feels nice, all aluminum.It did get often loose for me, but if you use it on a stationary bike inside your house, perhaps it would be ok. It seems to be the viflbrations of the road that affects it. BUT the seller was nice enough to offer reimbursement for my troubles. It might work for you. Sellers also often improve in more resent versions of their items, so the one you purchase months after might be better / fixed.

That long ago, I picked up this extension for my ram Mount, as I spent much of my time doing videography work off of the top of a motorcycle. This was a perfect amount to get my cameras up higher over my handlebars, and it offers me the versatility of, angling the cameras out to the side of the riders in multiple different directions .The quality construction is top-notch, and it fits most standard ram mounts that you find for camera and phone holders. Overall, I’m incredibly happy with the build this as well as the price point. This was a great pick up.

This is the third arm I've used; the first one was a RAM-brand mount and is rock solid on my motorcycle. The second one stripped, under not that much stress. This one has tightened down without issue. We'll see if ti holds up.

This double socket arm is made of aluminum and spring loaded, the features I look for. Strong, thumbscrew attaches tightly and hold in place anything using the popular 1 inch ball mounting system.The spring makes mounting a lot easier, able to hold in place while attaching a cam, phone holder, Etc.At a good value, it does it's job very well.
