My kid (11) bought an mp3 player so he could listen to music while he bike ride to school. But without actually owning or purchasing music. That's downloaded to the computer or streaming platforms. Didn't work on this so I had to return it. I got in this device because of the price which I thought was quite high at the time, but I've changed my mind and feel it's very fair right now. Because this device has Wi-Fi. He will not. Be able to use Wi-Fi while he bicycles to school. But he has access to apps like Pandora. Amazon Music et ceterand he can download the playlist whilet home to listen to on his right to school. My understanding was. It came with limited apps and no app. Store type application to download new apps. To my surprise, the app came prila. Downloaded with Facebook and Chrome. And many more applications. I've deleted these as I only want my child to use the device for music. But because of the Play Store app I can download hoopla. The library app so he can also listen to books on tape. I don't know how well these features will work once he steps out of Wi-Fi reach, but for now, I'm very excited. Another bonus is the device. Game pre-installed with a screen protector and extra screen protector as well as a case for the MP3 player.!!

The device barely functions, when you uninstall apps they reinstall after you restart the device. It refuses to download the newest compatible versions of apps (most apps the newest update is compatible with the OS of the device) you have to remove and put the SD card back in for it to work. I feel scammed, I was expecting the device to function properly but it does not. It has a Bluetooth range of about 50 ft, chrome doesn't work, yt music uninstalls after you shut it down, you can't clear cache without uninstalling the specific app.

After doing a lot of searching this size was so much better than getting a large iPad device for my son. We have a trip coming up so we got this to occupy him on the flight. You can download most streaming apps right to it. Very very pleased

This works perfect for all my music. Also you could run almost any app off the Google play store. It does not have a camera or GPS so if the app requires those they will not work but everything else works perfect. I also set up Google voice so I can use it as a phone with a Bluetooth.

Have 2 issues. One no equalizer like people have talking about. 2 if I plug in an antenna, if thinks its a headphone which cancels out the bluetooth. No Bluetooth if using FM. Other than that, great sound on its own. YouTube works great. Get a little hot if you rest on pillow or blanket while playing. Excellent over all as players more than twice the price. Must have for kids. Listening to Christmas story on audible, sounds like a movie.

Bought as a gift for a technology-challenged family member. I downloaded about 100 songs using a PC (this player doesn't support Apple/Mac products). He loved it!
