It is a nice panel, thicker than most, which are 1.5mm, but as you can see in the photo, it is definitely NOT 3mm, it is 2mm. I am guessing they used to be 3mm, but there was a cutback due to cost, so they rolled it back to 2mm. The description is wrong, it needs to be changed. I bought it because it was stated to be 3mm, and I paid a premium price for that reason. But I'll keep it since I can't find a thicker one. I may have to bolt together two of the cheap ones to get the strength I need.

Nice panel. Great finish. Used to make a rack mount fan panel to cool my network equipment. All the premade ones I tried were way too loud. Made my own so I could use whatever 120mm fans I want. I have done this with both their steel, and aluminum panels. I would definitely suggest the aluminum ones if you plan on cutting holes in it.

Great for that finished look on your network closet/rack. I modified this to include drilling holes out for fans and fan controller. It's very stout so this took some time and patience with metal hole saw. Project turned out great very happy with their products.
