It includes a pin should the lock fail. Also is made of heavy steel rather than some light weight material as others are. The pin actually goes right through instead of just through the tab of the lock. This is the safest option again should the lock fail. Worked great for hauling 4 bikes! Only upgrade I would recommend is a J style over a straight style.

I was shopping for a hitch lock because my old one didn’t quite fit my new Tacoma. The 3” pin was slightly too short to access comfortably.This 3.5” pin works great and the o-rings that are included make it fit snug.Great price too!

I had to replace a lost or stolen pin on my dump trailer. Inconveniently, same time mine went missing, every store within 25 miles sold out of this size pin. This pin has made my trailer stop rattling.

They're fine, but I specifically wanted them to be keyed alike for my drop hitch. These ones weren't, so now I'm carrying two clunky barrel lock keys.

Good buy, good fit. Little hard to use as you have to use 2 hands to lock and unlock but good quality and otherwise no other issues.
