This Acer Chromebook Spin is a fantastic little laptop! It's incredibly lightweight and portable, which is perfect for taking to class or on the go. I'm also impressed with how durable it feels. The performance is surprisingly fast for a Chromebook, and I haven't experienced any lag. The 2-in-1 design is versatile, and I love being able to use it as a tablet. Highly recommend!

Bought these as "spare" laptops for work since we needed a few that weren't domain joined. These work great. Really functional with the touch screen. Perfect size and very durable.

Bought it to use as a compact, light weight convertible laptop/tablet with good battery life for travel. My daily driver is a MacBook Air M1, which is incomparably better for only 7 times the price. The Acer Spin 311 is a terrific low-cost travel companion with good battery life, a bright screen, adequate computing, video and connectivity performance. If you're a citizen of the Google universe, it connects and synchs seamlessly at an unbelievably low price.

Again I waited awhile to post a review. This was purchased for my 7 year old son for school work. Battery life is exceptional. Price is exceptional and touch screen. Yes there are faster better quality chrome books out there but for the price and our intended use. Well I could not be happier. 5 stars all day.

This was my first Chromebook purchase and I am very satisfied. Acer makes a quality product and I especially like the Gorilla glass Touch screen. Download speed is excellent and the Aluminum case is nice upgrade from plastic. Battery life seems to be as advertised as I used it two days without a recharge.I'm happy I purchased it and the price is excellent for what take along on vacation laptop.

I've had numerous laptops, tablets, and smart phones over the years. I spend a lot of time on planes, in airports, and on cruises. I like to watch TV/movies, listen to music, and play games to kill time. I also like to catch-up on emails and Facebook. The smart phone is too small, the laptop is too big, and tablets are a pain to type with. This convertible Chromebook does everything I want and need in a lightweight package it has a 13 hour battery life. It fits easily in my backpack. I was worried that it would be slow, but it works very smoothly. I knew that the $800-$1200 models would be great, but I didn't want to spend that much. For $180 this thing rocks!

I ordered this because it appeared to be an improvement on acer's previous small touchscreen laptop, and I wanted something easier to travel with than my older14" Acer. It was shipped very slowly with very poor tracking information and after I had opened everything, I saw that it was a spin 311, so went through all the hassle of returning it, thinking somebody had just made a mistake. I ordered a second one, because I had a trip coming up. This arrived slowly, and when I opened it, it had the X-360 2-in-one label on the inner wrapper, but was again a 311 on the box inside. So I called amazon customer service. I was ready to keep this out of frustration, but wanted to be sure any warranty would work because the name didn't match. A very good service agent checked for me, and found the "product description" that is miniscule and very hard to find from this seller that does describe it as the spin 311. The X-360 2-in one is just an "authorized"(by whom?) package that is a 311, a cheap mouse pad, a usb extension, and an HDMI cable even though the 311 doesnt have an HDMI port. The x-360 is not on any Acer product listing I've found, but have found it on Walmart and from other Amazon sellers but only one where the actual device was identified without searching down through all kinds of stuff as a spin 311. Don't waste your money on extra junk. The 311 is not bad. It is a bit frustrating having the power cord take up the USB 3, and it does work better with a mouse than the touch pad, so there goes the USB port. I'm keeping it, and will probably kick myself for not doing quite enough research.
