The AFP-4375 Actual Flat Panel Box Newels are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance. Panels are "actual flat panels" which are done with styles and rails common to cabinet doors, creating sharp 45-degree corners. The AFP-4375 Red Oak is available as a half-sawn box newel post with an 8 to 10 business day lead time to ship. This is an unfinished product, sanded and ready for stain.
