This neck arrived without warps and in pristine condition. The fret work was incredibly well done, and the binding didn’t have any splits or defects. It only needed a minor truss rod adjustment to be perfectly straight and flat. The mahogany neck and headstock were stained and sealed with what I think is polyurethane. Literally the only problem I experienced was that the base was slightly wider than the cutout on the body I got from a different company. But that’s not Alnicov’s fault. All in all, I’m very pleased with the quality of this neck, and it plays very well.

Looks good but the nut was loose in the box. I'm not rating until I level and string it. Later... reattached nut easily, board is level, frets level. Happy with it, changed to 5 star!

This product arrived on time, well packaged and in new condition. The neck is absolutely straight, which from reading the reviews i expected something to be wrong, however i ordered anyway. I am quite impressed with the fret work. Very smooth, level and polished. The neck fit my Les Pauls neck pocket, absolutely prefect. The neck color doesnt match my Les Paul, which i didnt expect it to. But it still looks good. The nut was pregrooved and needed no refinement. Just a touch of graphite. My locking tuners fit snugly in the 10mm holes. I honestly expected some kind of issue. Such as lose binding or lousey fret ends, something..... but i can report that i cannot find anything wrong with this neck. I am very happy with this product. Your results may vary, I look at a guitar and appreciate it for what it is. Others look at a guitar and only see it for everything that it's not.

The seller was prompt and the neck arrived well packaged. The neck is functional and meets my expectations but do understand this is a budget neck. The frets are a bit sharp, I will dress them. The fret markers appear to be stickers but for my purposes this neck is functional and will do the job. Yes I would order again from this seller. Yes if you're looking for a low cost, no frills budget neck this is a great choice. If you're thinking you're going to get a Les Paul grade neck for this price, that's not what this is.

Neck was straight and looks great. You’ll need to go over the frets and should probably replace the nut. But for the money it’s an excellent value, I would certainly purchase this one again. No fit issues with my epiphone Les Paul body

First off, this neck is not an exact replacement for a LP, just to be clear. It will also require a bit of modification to get it to fit and mounted correctly. You will also need 10mm tuning screws, the stock tuners from Epiphone are to small. The quality was surprisingly decent. I have one fret that will need to be filed down on the first string, but surprisingly, every other fret sounds great. Essentially, a small tune up and this thing is ready to go.Price is quite honestly pretty amazing for what you get. It's not a perfect neck, but it most certainly does the job, and with a few minor tweaks, you have a custom neck that looks good and sounds great.Durability will obviously take some time to show. It seems pretty solid and well built, though. I will update with more information as needed.Overall, I'd say a good purchase if you need a replacement neck for a LP. Is it perfect, no. But it will do the job and I think it looks kind of cool as a custom guitar that I modified myself. Definitely worth buying in my opinion.

Years ago, a friend at work decided to try building his own guitars and quickly backed out. He sold off a lot of the components he'd bought to me at a good deal.During those years I got into 3D printing and designing my own 3D models. I recently realized I nearly had everything needed to 3D print my own guitar body. I realized I needed a neck, not wanting to print that and picked this.Well, you can see why I said what I said in the review title. After opening the dented box this neck came in, I saw the horrendous crack that's shown in the photos. These necks are lightly wrapped in thin foam sheet or thin bubble wrap, tossed in a box and sent out.Since this was fulfilled by Amazon, I began to process a return and decided to try replacing the neck instead of a refund. I'm happy to say the replacement neck I got is undamaged! So again, if you order this neck, carefully inspect it upon receipt.Regarding the neck itself, I haven't finished the guitar body so I can't comment on it's use. I can say that what I'm seeing so far is decent. Not great, but not bad. The paint clearcoat feels like it'll wear quickly, but given I don't like sticky, glossy necks, I'm fine with that. Frets are seated well, though I am going to take a jeweler's file to a few of them. They aren't protruding beyond the neck enough that I worry they'd cause injury, but I still prefer a smoothed edge. The nut looks okay but until I mount this neck to a guitar body and string it up, I can't directly state how good or bad the nut actually is.I'll update this review once I get the neck mounted and start playing my printed guitar, but for the time being, I wanted to share my experience and warn other buyers to carefully inspect this neck if they get one.

Initially I was really excited to get this. The. I realized I had a lot of work ahead of me. 90% of the frets were lifted on the middle I could fit 2 pieces of paper under the edge. The clipped ends of the frets were sharp and many had little pieces on them I could peel off from not being cleaned when they cut them. The neck was straight, that was a positive. Inlays and rosewood are in great shape. Highly disappointed in the poor fret work. That's the most important part of the whole piece outside of a straight neck.
