I have ELD in my fleet and these have been installed and had to go with other manufacturers for the longer longevity. Do not buy this product.

In the photo is the ball mount and t-bolt that came with this on the left. On the right is a Yakattack mount. The T-bolt that came with this was too large of a diameter. I had to file it down to fit in the track on my Old Town kayak. Everything seems to be quality made other than that.

This is mostly aluminum, with the exception of the t-bolt ball and the bolt on the tightening knob. The arm is nice, and functions like it should. The amps plates are well done. There's no sharp edges and the feel nice in the hand. The t-bolt adapter is nice to have. If you have t-track, this is perfect for that.

I have converted a lot of my connectivity gear to Class B and C ball joint assemblies. I find them versatile for positioning photography equipment. So when I saw the VAUBORTTI Class-B 1" ball mount and arm assembly I was immediately attracted to the included T-slot ball attachment. It's another option for securing an arm I don't have in my inventory.I ordered their kit with a 4" aluminum arm and two AMPS round mounting plates. When it arrived I immediately inspected it to see how it differed from my other brands. The aluminum arm lacks a spring to apply pressure on one of the balls. The AMP round plates are casted 1 piece units. All appear to be powder coated. The optional T-slot mounting ball has the same 1" ball attached to a threaded wheel, and there is a washer in between, and a stainless steel 'T'.But I discovered a defect. The stainless steel bolt and the mating lever were stripped. The threads on the bolt were cut down. And the brass threads in the lever were damaged as a result. It could not tighten down and would slip and pop loose. The mounting arm was useless and inoperable.I had it replaced by Amazon. But the second unit arrived with a thread damaged T-slot ball mount. The threads on that unit was all galled and rough. What's going on?? Fortunately, the bolt hardware on the replacement arm was good and functioning. Luckily I had not returned the 1st defective unit yet and was able to piece a functioning kit between the two, thus returning defective pieces from both examples. Not very confidence inspiring, VAUBORTTI.Given the condition of two samples, I can't recommend this brand for it's lack of quality control. My other brands of such equipment are better designed, have additional parts, and the levers are also larger for more leverage. Allowing for better clamping force than what I achieved from this product. I was able to get the AMP mounting plates to shift and move. One can do better for the money. And get a more reliable setup.
