if you have any Garmin dash cam this is really nice way to mount your dash cam on the windshield without using the one time magnet that come with the camera so it’s easy to move it between multiple cars. it’s slim profile and it matchs the camera size.Highly recommend it.

Its very convenient being able to move between several vehicles, but make sure you hold firmly against windshield before locking in place, if not it will fall off and possibly cause damage to your camera

I drive for work. Sometimes construction sites crack my windshield and with that I would always have to replace the stupid sticky thing that my camera came with which I don’t wanna keep buying this thing has been through super heat super cold. It’s done great holding it on my windshield and I can now remove it if I need to replace my windshield. It’s been amazing.

I initially used the included adhesive mount to attach the Garmin dash cam to my windshield. But living in SoCal, the sun constantly beats down on the windshield and with the heat, the adhesive melted quickly and became unusable. This suction cup mount has been fantastic and worked reliably. Haven't had to think about it.

Works perfect replacing my magnetic mount on the window, don't hesitate just buy if you require a secondary attachment.

Note that the lever to activate suction, is not readily apparent (looks like part of the frame).Great for taking on trips with rental car for easy attachment/detachment.

Dico solo una cosa… da mesi è stato posto sul vetro del camper e non si è mai staccato. Non risente dell’esposizione al sole e alle basse temperature

Got it, put it on the windshield. Was fine on the drive to the train station. Got back that evening when it was around 30 degrees F and it was in my seat because it had fallen off. Will be returning.

In general, Dashcams should not be suction mounted. Suction mounting is the least reliable way to mount a device to your windshield, and since a dashcam needs to stay up on your windshield through all weather conditions & even during a collision, you should use something better like adhesive. Here's the thing: If you have one of the Dashcam models that this is advertised to fit, you probably noticed that Garmin charges a criminal amount for their mounts. If you ever need to borrow or rent a car, and want a dashcam for safety and liability reasons, buying this is a much better idea than buying an expensive Garmin mount, especially considering that once those are applied you can never reuse them.Although the suction on this is not incredible and it does periodically fall off, it does allow me to install my dashcam in cars that I am temporarily using.I'm thus very happy with it, and highly recommend it for similar use-cases.
