Piece of trash doesn't seal well, slots are on the front of the guide not on the bottom, slots cover half of the vacuum slot on wand and no edge suction. Slots areNothing like in the picture

I ordered this product because it is around half the price of those in the UK. The difference this make when cleaning is immense. Now my wand glides so easily on previous carpets when it would have locked down. Great on thick pile carpets or polyamide. A great investment and I’d highly recommended

FIts perfect and makes sliding it across harder office carpets but loses alot of suction on our 12in wand. Seems durable we have used it on and off many times and there is no sign of it wearing down or being flattened by the rough office carpets. may try using silicon with it or some way to seal up the air leaks around it to see if it works better.

I bought two of these and used them on my 12 inch standard carpet cleaning wands and have been happy with the performance. When first putting on the glide be careful not to damage it as it will still be stiff...just be gentle putting it on. Then take a tube of silicone caulking and seal up all the edges and sides between the glide and your steel wand and give it 24 hours to dry. This will ensure that you don't loose any air movement or suction on your machine. It definitely is a back saver and you can use it to suction up dirty water on tile or other hard surfaces.

I purchased because I have places where I'm in a motel switching from carpet to tile quickly. I have powerful high-pressure equipment, but was worried like everyone else about loosing too much suction as a trade off, but I haven't found much if any loss. I have yet to seal the edges which is a good idea. And I don't often give a top review. It helps me be versatile and that little piece of plastic has more than earned its keep. Not to mention my BACK feels so much better. And that matters when you are over 60 years old.

Does reduce suction a bit so only 4 stars, however I use this on a ground Quartz stone carpet floor and this is the only thing that protects the floor from the wand edge. The surface is very rough and porous and the metal edge of the wand was wearing and tearing the surface of the stones. This peice allows it to slide very easily with zero damage.
