About this item

  • Tee with three openings for connecting and branching three tubes
  • Flared tube connections on two ends and a male NPT connection on the other
  • Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability
  • Operating temperature range of -65 to +250 degrees F
  • Resists mechanical pullout for a more secure connection

This Anderson Metals tee compression tube fitting is made of brass, has flared tube connections and a male NPT connection, and is suitable for use with fuel and gas systems. It is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This fitting is T-shaped and has three openings to connect and branch three tubes, two on the main run and one branch at a 90-degree angle from the middle of the tee. Tube dimensions for tees are represented as A x B x C. “A” and “B” indicate the main run on the fitting, and “C” indicates the branch. It has flared tube connections on one main run and the branch for connecting to unthreaded flared tubing, and a male National Pipe Taper (NPT) connection on the other main run for connecting to a female NPT threaded tube. The NPT threads create a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting can be used with copper, brass, aluminum, or steel tubing and is part of an assembly that resists mechanical pullout, for a more secure connection, and can be assembled and reassembled without affecting the seal. This tee compression tube fitting has an operating temperature range of -65 to +250 degrees F and is suitable for use with fuel and gas systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and vacuum applications.

Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.

Anderson Metals manufactures brass fittings, valves, and pipe nipples. The company, founded in 1951, is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.

The fitting is well-made and enough area to grab with a wrench to tighten other fittings to. Be careful with the middle threads when using a wrench to hold the middle. Works fine though.

Works great. Solid construction and fast shipping.Just make sure what you’re doing. Some people try to connect flare to pipe and expect them to work fine without any special adapters. This works just great. Cheaper and faster to get than Home Depot or Lowe’s since they don’t have it in stock.
