Was looking for a cap to close off a gas line for a dryer. Wasn't quite sure of size due to its cone shape so I ordered this variety pack. One of the sizes fit perfect and works great. Great price for the set as well.

How so? I went to a major store, asked for two flare caps of slightly differing size to close an old propane line for gas dryer. Changed to electric dryer. Neither one was the correct flare fitting, despite a picture showing the line needing a cap- along with a tape measure next to the fitting. Therefore, ordered this 5 kit, thinking I would save in gas alone from repeated trips! Sure enough, one fit correctly. Now I have 4 for other potential uses down the line, with no further expense.A+ product, A+ service from this vendor.

Does not fit flared gas line. Needed cap for old natural gas heater line but the caps are too small and would not fit. Probably fine for the right connection but did not work for my application. Ended up needing 15/16-inch flared cap

Got these to cap off a sink that had a leaking faucet (the water would go in from the hot side and leak into the handle for the cold side). The first attempt didn't work, it kept leaking even though I used plenty of teflon tape to seal the threads. I noticed that because the caps are so deep, they weren't completely screwing it the entire way and were hitting the actual valve. So I had to put in a rubber washer as a spacer and with that on it sealed up nicely.I went to also cap the 3/8 inch supply valve, but the nut didn't fit that at all, it was too small and the next size up was too big.

I disconnected a gas stove and wanted to cap the line as well as removing it at the propane tank. I wasn't certain but thought I needed the 5/8". Turned out I was right, but getting the kit allowed me to have anything I might need. This worked perfectly. Now I'll order the one I needed so I have the whole set again.
