This is my first Nas very simple to set up mainly using it for jellyfin there are tons of YouTube videos on different options and walkthroughs so far it's been working great I've had it set up for a few days if anything arises I will update here

its a powerful NAS that can go up to 64gb of ram and plenty of storage.i just hope that it supports vmware on its next upgrades of adm.

So, this is my first personal NAS device although i do have set-ups at work so I am not a novice. The hidden nature of wherre you plug in the SSD stick to accelerate access means you first have to remove all drives before the cover will unlock to reveal the spot.One problem i did have is that port 3 on my device is a tad sensitive to plugging in the drive so if it gets jiggled a bit or I have to turn off the machine like with the storage upgrade mentioned above drive 3 is just as likely to not read, then read as a new device and storage will get rebuilt on the drive rather than resumed.

1104T からの移行です。 HDD（10GB*4 本） 差し替えるだけでまるっと移行できるのは非常にいいですね。 同一メーカならでは、ですかね。機能的には CPU/メモリともそこそこあるモデルなので全体的な使い心地はまぁ悪くない（今まで 1104T を使っていたのと比較すれば）ですが、定期的にビビリ音がなることがあって、つくり的には若干雑なのかなとも感じました。ただ、ネットワーク的には 2.5GLAN＊２ を LAG で組んで使ってますが HDD への転送速度が 200MB/s弱まで高速化されることがあったのはやっぱり嬉しいですね（常にじゃないですが）。 CPU/メモリのおかげは大きいみたいですね（1104T は 2.5G シングルですが、同一HDD構成でも確か 60~70MB/s ぐらいしかでなくて悲しかった覚えがあります）。2025/6/16追記：ビビリ音ですが、フロントパネルじゃなくて、HDDベイ自体から鳴っていました（現在フロントパネルは外してしまっています）。これは結構つらいです。 ずーっと言い続けているのですごく耳障りです。ちょっと触ると止まるんですがまたすぐなりだす始末。 なんか手がないんでしょうかね。。。

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase but, compared to the Synology or QNAP, the software is very lacking. There's enough there to do the job but, they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to functionality. If Asustor ever updates their software to be a little more functional, they would have a nearly perfect product on their hands.

Could not get it to connect to my PC. It would connect some times and other times drop. Very frustrating and costly experience. Repeated calls with customer service only lent to more frustration as I found them completely useless. I’m going to try a different vendor. Everything was returned thanks to Amazon‘s great return policy

I really like this NAS. It was easy to set up. I was able to set up all the shares via Samba or NFS as I needed. Docker was easy to install as well. I have had it a cople weeks so far and really am pleased with the purchase

One of my decisions to purchase this NAS was advertised 4K output on HDMI. Unfortunately there is no support for DTS or Dolby audio Codecs so forget about surround sound playback. Looks to be an excellent NAS otherwise.
