ECO Mode
When the Parent Unit is active and no sound is detected from the baby within 30 seconds, it will automatically enter sleep mode, which means the Parent Unit will be silent. This feature helps save power and extend usage time for the user. In sleep mode, if the parent wants to actively hear the sound, they can press the volume + or volume - key to wake up the sound. If there is no operation, it will re-enter the ECO energy-saving mode after 30 seconds.
Visual Sound Indicator
Indicate the sound level detected by the baby unit or show the volume level during speaker volume setting. The visual sound indicator has three functions.
One is to show the sound level detected by the baby unit.
Second one is to show the volume level during speaker volume setting.
Third is show RED LED flash when there is no link between the baby unit and the parent unit, or when the parent unit is out of range from the baby unit.
Volume Control
The speaker volume on the parent unit is easily controlled by pressing the up or down arrow keys. When the parent unit is in mute, the visual sound indicator will still indicate the sound detected from the baby unit.
Parent Unit Alert Tones
Out of range tone: Beeps three times every 10 seconds when there is no link between the baby unit and parent unit, or when the parent unit is out of range from the baby unit.
Low battery tone: Beeps one time every 30 seconds when the battery is low.
Power/Low Battery Light
Lights on steadily in green when the parent unit is on and linked to the baby unit.
Flashes in green when the battery is low.
Flashes in red when there is no link between the baby unit and parent unit, or when the parent unit is out of range from the baby unit.

Just spend a few extra bucks for a nicer one. The sound is really fuzzy and it doesn't connect easily. 3 months in and it won't turn on anymore. Waist of money!

I use these every day right now. If the twins are sleeping in their cribs and I'm getting things done around the house, I like to have something to help me hear them when they wake up. I usually leave it plugged in and always keep an ear open but if I'm cooking and can't hear too well from the kitchen I just slap some batteries in it and hook it to my waist band.

I tried this product but it never worked. The plug seemed loose. I don’t know whether it had been used before or it was just extremely poor quality but the sound would only come through the receiver for about 3 seconds and then shut off. Total waste of money. I only have it one star because I had to.
