This heatshrink works great as long as you heat it properly. It has great shrinkage and if I kept applying heat I got all the wrinkles out. I saw another customer's review that they did not properly heat and it was completely wrinkled. You must keep applying heat and it will smooth out like melted butter! Dont be afraid to keep the heat on it, this is very durable. The fit may seems very large at first, but it shrinks and incredible amount. I would recommend this product 👌

Had to shrink wrap a breadboard as I test a circuit before committing to design.Used a hairdryer, worked quickly and smoothly. Turns wrinkly at first and tightens up. I can imagine you may be left with wrinkles if you needed it to shrink more than it is capable of.Would recommend, buy again.

It’s a little tricky at first to get the right amount of heat and how fast to move the heat source around. I used a regular hair dryer on med heat setting and it worked fine. Take your time and go back and forth as to not heat up the cells too much. I rewrapped my battery pack after I changed out the BMS.

If you've dealt with many electronics, you've seen these sleeves, of various colors, holding the individual cells of battery packs together. I hadn't seen this material offered before. Probably because I hadn't looked. So, when I saw this stuff, I thought, "Why not give it a try?"I placed an order for the 200 mm variety thinking that for18650 batteries, that would be the most likely place to start. It was. This material shrinks 2 to 1. Meaning the 200 mm (8-inch) size shrinks to a minimum of 100 mm (4 inches.) Which is great for 18650 batteries stacked end-to-end. It will also work with them stacked, singly, side-by-side or layered -- up to a point. The material looks and feels just like the stuff you see on commercially made battery packs. I used the 650 degree setting on the heat gun and it worked very well without heating the cells much at all.

What I really hated about this product was that it took more than than a month to get and it was damaged when it got here.
