3:1 Shrink Ratio & Dual Wall

When heating with a heat gun or other heater, the tubing will recover to 1/3 of its original diameter, which makes it possible to repair most damaged cable jackets without removing connectors. The dual wall tube provides better rigidity and abrasion. The double thick polyolefin tubing secures durable safe for projects.

Heat Activated Adhesive Lined

Our waterproof tubing has an internal adhesive layer. When heating, shrink tubing recovers and the internal adhesive layer melts. A small fillet of clear adhesive becomes visible at the end of the heated tubing. When cooled down, it forms a rigid seal. Heat-activated glue strongly adheres to wires, terminals, or any other surfaces.

This heat shrink is actually quite nice. It has the adhesive that activates with heat and it worked well to pair my 1/0 wire with 1/0 to 4 gauge amp input adapters.

Bought this 2” heat shrink tubing for a boat dock project - rope railing. Used the shrink tubing on the rope ends to prevent fraying of the fiber. This product works just as expected. Highly recommend.

Heavy walled with sealant. 3:1 shrink ratio. Used this large Heat-Shrink to insulate a split-bolt connect three 6 Ga wires. Really good product.

Actually I bought this to over tubing and pipe supports and handles on equipment. Shrunk to fit 1" conduit and 3/4 Schedule 40 pipe. Shrank tight and has stood up to a lot of abuse hitting objects with the covered pipes without exposing the pipe.

Awesome product, lots of uses, my last repair with this product was my extension cord, it had a few breaks in it with electrical tape and wire nuts. This was no good so I got but connectors and shrink wrap, it turned out very well, it’s nice having the glue inside as it seals as it shrinks and lasts a lot longer than electrical tape.

The shrink tubing met expectations. It fit over the 4/0 and 2/0 lugs I was using for solar battery connections. The red was a little orange in color but it worked fine for my needs. Shrinks well and has adhesive.

Waterproof lining is awesome! It is like an internal resin that melts and sticks to the union making it waterproof! I shrinked it on 1/0AWG and it fits nicely but would fit a much larger diameter too.

2" SizeThis is similar to the shrink sleeve used on industrial cable connections. It has an adhesive on the inside that comes out when its heated. I tested it by shrinking a piece onto a hammer handle about 1.25" diameter. I don't think its coming off, ever. I used a handheld heat gun on the low setting, took a while but the shrinking is controllable then.This 2" stuff is about 0.037" thick as delivered. After shrinking to the 1.25" hammer handle it is about 0.055" to 0.060" thick. Not cheap Princess Auto stuff..It is maybe a bit too big for what I need so I ordered the 1.5" size. Great value.
