This is a sturdy jacket. Great metal zipper! No plastic on this thing. The only negative thing is that when you turn your head the hat does not turn with you. The head of my beekeepers club said put a ball cap on it helps. I have long hair so it wont work without a ball cap for me. I wear a large but got an extra large and glad I did. There's no strain on the back when I reach forward. The elastic is snug but not too tight. I purchased a full suit that really sucks! The zipper was plastic and the mesh kept touching my face. This one does not. Super happy with this purchase.I've used this twice not and am so happy with it. I put my hair in a pony tail and pull the hat over that. It's held firmly on my head that way. I wear a L and purchased an XL. No pull in the anywhere on the garment when I bend or reach. Very happy with this buy.

I typically wear a small 4/6 and based upon reading all reviews pertaining to beekeeping suits in general I opted for a XL and it’s fits me perfectly. So order a couple sizes up. It’s a canvas material and you will get hot and sweaty so get a neck tan to keep cool on hot summer days.

I've used this jacket for ONE season. It's great BUT the veil material started cracking and creating holes after just a few months. So I took black thread to sew the cracks shut but it keeps breaking. I tried to contact the seller but haven't had any luck, they didn't get back to me.While this jacket with veil seems great, the actual veil fails quickly, even with gentle use and good care.Now I'm off to find a replacement veil since the coat is still great.Bummer.

Nice jacket for the money! Heavy material, heavy duty zippers. One problem I had was elastic in wrist portion has came loose and sleeve is no long closed and bees can enter sleeve! Not good trust me... other than that jacket and veil are good for the price. Jacket is hot for summer use in warmer climates but would be perfect for spring and fall inspections of hives.
