I should have measured this bike cpu before I purchased it, I knew it would be a bit larger than the fitbit-size one that I used to have, but this is almost as large as a cell phone. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but if you're looking for something small and portable, this may not be the right one.I'm still trying to get used to the controls. It seems like it tracks a lot of different things, not just distance and speed, but trying to toggle and configure everything (e.g. distance to finish ... I have no idea) and the directions aren't particularly useful. Easy enough to set the tire circumference and units but otherwise it seems a bit of experimentation. An interesting combination of touchscreen and physical buttons.Major benefit that it's wireless, so there is no need to run a cord down the front spoke like other bike computers.

The cheap gauge on my stationary bike died and I thought this would make a nice replacement. I spend about half an hour figuring out how to set the various functions and attach it to the bike—the instructions are so small I had to use my phone to read them—only to reach the final steps and find that the computer component attaches to the wheel’s spokes. My stationary bike’s wheels don’t have any spokes.TBH, this device was more complicated than I really wanted or needed, but might fit the bill for you and your conventional outdoor racing bike. As for me, I’ll just have to rely on my fitness tracker.

This bycycle computer is amazing once it is properly mounted on the handlebar frame of my road bike. There are so many functions on it such average speed, digital clock, trip timer, auto scan, auto start and auto power, calories count, fat burn, highest or lowest temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, memory and a maintenance program too.I can even see it with the LED back light at night. It is a complete set with a transmitter which can be attached to the side tube with zip ties,a magnetic screw,a nut,a bracket to make it very secure and functional.

The first thing I always look for on any tech is the power button. On/off. This unit does not have an off button (only auto-shutoff after 5 minutes of battery drain). In fact, it only has two buttons and a touch-sensitive backlight switch. There are onscreen things as well, but nothing is intuitive. The unit has a nice big display screen, but I don't need most of the features and they're already on my phone for the most part. If you already have a phone mount that you're going to use anyway, I wouldn't bother adding the weight of this unit. It takes up a lot of room on your handlebar and the mount/computer isn't really adjustable or adaptable to any other attachment.I installed it and did the necessary calculations and settings. And that was when I knew I would never use it. I use a lot of complex tech for work and I want my riding to be as little like work as possible. It took way too much time and not having up/down buttons for menus is frustrating for me.If you like learning a bunch of new routines to input things and change settings punching the same button multiple times for multiple things, this is for you. Just not for me. But it does work and it is wireless. And it does have speed, timer, odometer, and a clock. YMMV.

This is a useful little thing and because there are not many reviews of the bike computer, so I left my own opinion. For now, I'm happy with what I bought, I'll keep using it, and I'll update my review if anything new comes up!

I debated getting this bicycle speed computer because I have a recumbent tandem bicycle and was unsure if I could get the thing to work having a very small front wheel. I needn’t have worried, since you just multiply pi times the diameter of the wheel with tire in millimeters (they provide a chart for the common wheel sizes). The means of securing the monitor bracket to the handle bar is by rotating a threaded knob on a threaded linear piece of the plastic bracket assembly. Very simple, elegant, and innovative. So innovative that the instructions describe and illustrate a different bracket from the one provided. The monitor is positioned onto a notch in the bracket and given a quarter turn (some effort is needed for the amount needed to get it vertical, but it goes. Both the monitor and transmitter require lithium coin size batteries. I much prefer this to having to remove electronic bicycle components to recharge, which now seems to be in favor. The plastic screen on mine has transit abrasions. I did find a protective film over the screen, but see no immediate need to remove it.Graphics on the screen are massive. The monitor provides speed, distance, temperature, calories expended, time, and can compute an expected time to arrival.Quite a unit. I agree with another viewer that another bit of rubber should have been provided so that the monitor does not vibrate away from intended position, but I have enough neoprene sheet around the homestead to do that and, thus, kept all the review stars (to which the unit richly deserves). A nice bit of kit, indeed.

I wanted to give this bike computer a try on my daughter’s bike. The primary feature I was going for was a wireless speed sensor. Setup was quite easy and seems secure. The instructions are detailed and provide a number of settings to adjust for wheel size however the wheels size of the bike I set it up for wasn’t included though doing the math to determine the setting isn’t difficult. This computer would be an excellent choice for those that have trouble seeing smaller screens. Ironically this computer is excellent for those whom have troubles with smaller screens however the instructions are very tiny and are challenging to read. The dropped one star from this as it would have been best if it came with two rubber pads, one for the wheel sensor and one for the out front mount.
