I like the look of the connector but the coating on them scratches easily. Probably shouldn't have gone with black

Not all fittings in this category are created equal. When I found these, I was instantly impressed with the brand due to their light weight, which reduced the strain on my overhead installation, taking any droops out of the equation. The other features I like and have come to trust is the double O-ring style for the PEX-AL-PEX piping and it has just enough of a lip on the inner portion of the female threaded piece that it keeps the piping installed when running up full pressure. So this style and Maxline are the only two I will buy anymore because of their overall quality and design. So if you are looking for an affordable fitting that is lightweight and won't have you changing your drawers when a line pops at 125 psi, then this is the brand for you. Oh, and they are excellent at not leaking on either side (if installed correctly).
