Your cart is empty. Our female threaded tube fitting is made of food grade POM material, which is suitable for use in drinking water applications. It adopts Push to connect technology, which allows users to connect and disconnect quick and easy without the need of any other tools.It fits standard tubing OD 1/4 inch Copper, CPVC, PEX and PVC tubing for most RO systems
Where to use it?
Applications include RO system, beverage dispensing, refrigerator ice maker, coffee machine etc. This quick connect fitting is commonly used to join a couple pieces of poly tubing or extend a water line in case a line gets pinched or breaks , it is fast emergency repair item and back up parts that work well for RO water systems
How to use it?
Just pop in your 1/4" tubing into each end, pushing until it won't go in. To remove, just push in the outer circle on each end and pull right out. You need to make sure the tubing is cut squared to insure no leaks. Be sure you cut the tubing even and straight, without crimping it. Then insert straight, and all the way into the connector. If it's crooked, or not inserted all the way, or crimped, it may leak

listed description is not correct. Supposed to be 3/8 female to 1/4 quick connect but it is 3/8 female to 3/4 quick connect

Fittings are probably fine for their intended use. But needed them for hooking up to a fridge and these do not have compression threads. Might be NPT but not certain and were returned.

I ordered these a month and a half ago to finish an under counter water filter in my kitchen and was told at that time that they were back ordered. ETA August 28 to September something. Finished the installation a month and a half ago using a compression fitting and nut. However, I'm keeping these around for several reasons. First, they're not the easiest to find in my area. Second, they are well mad and nicely finished, which, honestly, you don't always find with plastic plumbing parts. And thirdly, I'm taking two of them and shoving them down the throats of the two plumbing reps at the big box home improvement center who told me: "We don't have them. We can't get them. We've never even seen what you're describing." Then muttered something that sounded like "Dumb $***." as they walked away. And as we all know, Amazon won't accept a return if you have used the parts and won't return them. What the heck, they're more than worth the price anyway.

As others have said this is not 1/4"OD - 1/4"Female Thread adapter.It is 1/4" OD - 1/2" female thread adapter.

These connectors have a 1/2" female thread. The entire world measures the female thread of a connector by the diameter of the cavity. Apparently Puresec has some other way of describing their connectors because they sent me the wrong size twice.
