I use this on my leather bags and it does a great job of softening and waterproofing them. And a little bit goes a long way. Highly recommended.

I thrift leather footwear and use several products but Blackrock is one of my favorites. It is really good at removing those black scuff marks that leather shoes seem to acquire. And it leaves a nice shine.

Got dead boots? Bam Lazarus! Twenty year old cowboy boots from goodwill now look cute and patinaed. Forty year old belt has suppleness and sheen again. A beat up satchel with some dye and this conditioner looks as good as new.Sometimes they even look better than new.I use this along with leather dye and saddle soap as a final step to add a casual yet clean and luxurious look to all of my leather goods.When I get any new leather product I put this on it to protect it, add luster, water resistance, and stain resistance.It will darken older leather. It may even darken lighter leather. But it is only extreme with very old or very tired leathers. I find though, that with a few applications the darkness can become rich and perfectly even.
