I've successfully used this style of lock on my last 3 vehicles, and it doesn't disappoint. It's well-constructed, corrosion-resistant, and uses my ignition key to lock/unlock. One less key to lose!

Like these locks. Very heavy duty. No need to remember different keys. Used the Ford center cut key for my 2024 Ford F350. Just turn the key in the lock until it stops and it's ready to go.I used 1 for the truck hitch and 2 other bolt locks for the travel trailer. One key fits all.

Nice being able to use my truck key to open my hitch lock. I bought another one for my hitch on the back of my RV. One key does it all. I use it with a 2023 Ford F250 Diesel.

When you put your vehicle key in to teach the lock your combination, but sure to turn the key a full 1/4 turn. It will turn about 1/8 turn, then stop. Turn a bit harder and it will make a little snap noise and then go 1/4 turn.Seems to work well.Amazon claimed this would not fit my 23 F250, but I checked the mfg site and this was the right part number and it worked correctly. Amazon also previously claimed the side cut key model was what I needed, so I ordered that and had to exchange it. It's best to consult the manufacturer's web site to be sure you get the right model the first time.

Worked with the center cut ket of a '23 F250 however the lock could be a bit less wobbly on the pin.Guess that's just a manufacturer thing.

I always buy locks for my trailer and hitch. When I am not using it, I always put my keys away. When I go back to find them, they always seem to disappear. I can’t tell you how many locks I have with no keys. I had to throw them all out. I bought this lock, now I have just my truck key that fits the lock. I always keep track of my truck keys so I will not lose it. It’s less junk to haul around. The lock works great. Just remember to commit when you put the key in it to set the lock to your key . READ the instructions before you attempt to set the lock to your key. They are not complicated instructions. Just stick the key in all the way then rotate clockwise until it will turn no further. [at least that was the instructions for my lock.] I have bought one for my hitch one for the trailer tongue and additional locks for my trailer. I have a car trailer so I have a side panel and then the ramp in the back. That’s three padlocks required to lock my trailer. I am looking to see if I can buy their bare lock cylinder and replace the one from my side door so it fits my truck key. Love the locks…

Heavy duty and nice not having to have an additional key. What I really like and maybe most are like this, but my last hitch pin required the key to lock as well. So as you held the lock to put the key in, I would end up pushing the pin out and it was very cumbersome. This one you just push the lock on the pin so the other hand can hold the pin from pushing out.
