This was a solid case. Provided enough room for the bow and was sturdy enough to deal with airplane and bus travel. Exactly what we were looking for!

best priced one I could find. It's a solid case with a soft material inside. It fits my Cello bow and its wide enough so it doesn't rub the hairs too much.

I like the construction of the case, but it won't hold more than one bow. My son has two bows, so he always has to leave one at home.

Beautiful!!Nice canvius covered wood box lined with a light padding and velvatine, the caring strap is securely fastened and adjustable. I was thrilled that the top flap to close it was flexible and had Velcro, buttons tend to break or fail to work after awhile. Great purchase. I would love to see one that would hold two bows... As I will probably purchase two more!

You should know, because it is not in the description, that this bow case opens only from one end, and not the whole long length of the case, like a clam shell, which is more typical of bow cases. This may not be a problem for you but I was surprised and the very dark photo doesn't reveal this detail. I personally prefer to see the entirety of the case's contents and I didn't like the feel of resistance as the bow went in with the delicate head "pushing" its way through the velvet. Also, while the description (as of October 2013) reads that it is "good for any size," if you put a smaller bow in and it travels through the case, you would need some type of long forceps to pull the bow out - this wouldn't be a problem with a full size bow but they should take that description out. On the plus side, the wooden shell feels substantial, outer fabric seems tough enough to withstand the elements and it is a good value if you are OK with the product design.
