First if all this is one of the cheapest options on the market. Second, the barrel does a great job of changing the timbre of the sound produced. I have a buffet and it paired perfectly and I didn't need to make any structural modifications.Very satisfied with the purpose, ecstatic about the performance, and would recommend highly for any clarinet professional!
