Bought this to secure my expensive drop hitch on the receiver and also to secure the dual ball assembly on the hitch. It fits perfect on the hitch in securing the ball assembly with very little play. On the class V receiver there's about a 1/2" of play so I will have to cut the longer one of the spacers to provide an exact fit for hopefully zero play. It's a little pricey but it seems Bulletproof like the name suggests. But to ensure my valuable cargo stays safe and stays with me, I don't mind paying a few pennies more.

These arrive neatly packed in their own box with a thank you note from the sellers. The spiral rings at the top of the pads are gold color. The covers are nice and in a variety of soft colors. The paper is lined and the pads are pocket sized. I’m pleased. Would buy again.

4 stars, here's why. The plan was to get this 3 piece with one key set for my vehicles so I don't have to carry round extra keys. This is a perfect solution for that. The locks are stainless steel, all keyed the same, fits the hitch hole perfectly. And then once I put it on my hitch, I realized it wouldn't work for me. The side with the key is so long, it blocks the hitch eye loop for the safety chain. I could still manage to get the safety chain/cable to hook on but it was very tight and rubbing and binding on the lock that I just don't see how that would be good in the long run. In the end, I ended up taking it off and putting it on my adjust drop hitch. Need to make it shorter. This would be great for hitch trays and racks but not for trailer towing where you need access to the hitch eye loops. Even though I couldn't use it for what I has planned for. Luckily I found another use for it.

Looks great and very solid construction. Nice having it in black. Blends in well with rest of the hitch. Lock assembly easy to attach and remove.

The first impression of the unit is that it is very well-made instead of some cheap stamping from some country that hates America; it appears to be a machined, engineered device.The installation of the unit is why I say belt and suspenders. Like any hitch pin, you place your ball amount into the receiver and send the pin through both. This locks them together, then a clip, which is quite standard with these devices, is inserted through the hitch pin. Then, you add the hitch pin lock on the end. In this way, you are not relying on the hitch pin lock to hold the hitch pin in place-the clip does that work. The hitch pin lock is to prevent tampering, but I suppose you’re also going to get a backup function out of it if for some reason that clip should fail.I’m very impressed by this unit and have great expectations for a long life of useful service.

Don’t have a problem with the hitch pin and I know that it’s going to get marked up the first time that I put it in the receiver but this was not a brand new item. I would avoid the company “Beyond the Home” to fulfill your orders.
