Your cart is empty.The orange Quantum pad is the Workhorse of the Quantum system. The medium-cutting pad removes light to moderate defects like swirls, scratches, oxidation, and water spots to restore gloss, depth, and reflection to painted surfaces. Detailers start every paint restoration by polishing a test spot with the least-aggressive combination of cutting pads and Polish to determine the gentlest way to achieve perfection. The medium cut of orange Quantum pads balances enough power to remove the majority of defects from most finishes, but is gentle enough for even the most sensitive paint jobs. Use orange Quantum pads with a light swirl remover like V36 or One-Step Polish like vss scratch & swirl remover on any dual action or Rotary polisher. Check results for desired effects: if enough defects are removed, move on to finishing Polish and white pad; if more cut is needed, use heavier compound like V34 or V32 on orange pad and try again.

I recently used the Chemical Guys Hex-Logic Buffing Pads while polishing my Jeep Gladiator, and I was thoroughly impressed with their performance. I use this on my Porter Orbital polisher to apply the paste wax to my car. It helps to apply it in nice even swirls, not to heavy and not too little. I have purchased and used these numerous times over the years and highly recommend these. I toss mine after I am finished with it (one time use), as they are extremely hard to clean even with Adam's Pad Cleaner solution. Kind of expensive I know for just tossing, but think what you would pay at a detailer shop for the same wax job as what you can do in the comfort of your own garage. There you go.

We are typically big users of Rupes and Lake Country pads but these Hex pads are awesome for 1step polishes and quick paint enhancements!They are extremely durable and even work well with elevated heat!We have used these outdoors on boats and RVs and haven't noticed the adhesive that holds the backing for the pad breaking down which is an extremely common issue for us with other pads!Definitely worth trying!

It has large pores, it does cut quickly but you need to use low speeds, or else this will fall apart quickly. I prefer using microfiber pads as they are more durable.

I got these as a "step up" for the green Hex Logic pads I've used on my car. The green pad is supposed to be a heavy polishing / light cutting pad and it removed light swirl marks and faint scratches with ease. My other car had a more weathered paintwork so I thought I needed more cutting power. The conclusion is that this step up is barely noticeable when used on a DA polisher. It did remove swirl marks and faint scratches with the same level of effort but it wasn't noticeably harder cutting, in fact I didn't notice much difference compared to the results with the green pad.I think the reason for that is that while the green pad has an open pore structure this orange pad has closed pores therefore the increased cutting effect could only be achieved with more force applied to the panel. This is where it gets tricky with Dual Action polishers as excessive force would just make it stall. So I presume it's a better fit for purpose on rotary machines, otherwise go for the yellow pad if you need significantly more cutting power which again is an open pore structured pad.Still no regrets in getting these pads, they remained in shape after an extensive polishing session and cleaned up well, they seem to be of great quality, well recommended with keeping the above in mind.
