I've used these pads in the past and my car shined so bright I had to wear sunglasses. The paint came out so clear, you could read the serial number of a dollar bill in the reflection. Highly recommend to those "weekend warrior" detailers.

These foam pads are great ! I’m seeing some reviews that these pads fall apart after one use . So far I have Buffed and Polished 15 cars with these pads and as you can see they have held up great ! Here are the reasons why they fall apart for some people 1. Too much compound or polish on the pads one of the benefits of foam they hold chemical so you don’t have to use so much chemical like wool pads ! 2. Getting too close to door jambs or sharp panels like wheel wells .. 3. Not cleaning them with the spray you get with the kit and a foam pad brush after every use a tooth brush will work if you don’t have one .. I hope this will help some people that have gave the bad reviews and people who are looking to buy .. final opinion the pads are great would order again along with the Chemical Guys products I have used Meguire’s , 3M products and Top shelf chemicals for yrs and Chemical Guys are up to the task as well ..

I did way to much looking and finally ended up with these and the C4 / P4 compound and polish. It was easy to use on my Harbor Freight Bauer DA polisher and results were good. Pads cleaned up like new when done. I just used a spritz of water on the pads before starting so they weren't completely dry. They make a product , but Chemical Guys has a product for every single thing and have to draw the line somewhere.

The pads seem fine, but I cannot stress enough, how amazing this cleaner is. I've tried numerous cleaners, soaps, detergents etc. Nothing comes close to this stuff. I had all but given up on cleaning my various polishing pads, and was just wrapping them in plastic bags to stay moist. Not a good idea. Then I got this stuff. It cleaned the Chemical Guys pads that I had just used, effortlessly. No sticky residue on my hands or sink. I figured it must be the pads so I grabbed my "almost ready for the dung heap" coarse pad, and in minutes, with very little effort, it was pristine. I'm sold.

The pads work as expected. Very strong Velcro. The cleaning solution was surprisingly amazing (to be honest I'm not sure why I'm surprised) it cleans stuff off the pads so quickly and easily.

Good products. I did a two step correction using the v36 and v38 solutions from these guys. They all worked about the same as the ones i get from harbor freight, but this packaged deal was a better bargain and they seem more durable. I also like that the chemical guys offer so much variety in pads. However, I'm not sure if I used the orange pad too long before switching to a new one or something. I don't think i did... but it ended up misshapen in the middle, it's a little concave now and probably getting tossed. Seems like something happened to the velcro backing. Kind of a bummer as i only used it on the hood and the front fenders before switching pads and i soaked it in the cleaning solution a minute or two after using it. I didnt have this problem with the other 5 pads though which all still look brand new after cleaning, hmm. Maybe a manufacturing defect, maybe user error. Good products though and i still trust the chemical guys. I plan on getting in contact with them and asking about it as they normally have great customer service. Still taking a star away though lol.

I bought these pads to try out because I could not find any size 6.5" 3M pads (that I have used in the past) and the Meguiars and Griots pads are expensive to buy in Canada. I was very impressed by the performance of the pads ... both during use as well as how easily they cleaned up after use. I used them on my Griots 6" polisher using 3M Perfect-It compound and polish. Pros: I found them to be great value for the money. They performed very well and held securely on the machine's backing plate. I have had some other products peel off during use. And, as mentioned previously, they cleaned up very easily after use. Cons: None to date. They appear to be a well built and durable product. I had not bought any Chemical Guys products previously. But, have now ordered a Cannon car wash foam gun unit based on my positive experience with these pads.

I purchased to use with a porter cable 7424xpMy car has been regularly washed and hand waxed, and I’ve always thought it looked pretty good after a wax but this was first time I have machine waxed it (it’s a 2014 Passat). I washed and clayed, then used compound and polish and finished off with wax. removing each product and buffing by hand w a microfiber. This was a very lengthy process but I cannot even begin to describe how much better it looks, not a swirl mark left, might look better than when I bought it!As for the pads I have zero complaints they loaded well and held up great, I believe I could do many many more vehicles with no issues. The backing remains firmly attached and there is no sign of wear. The pad cleaner is AMAZING! Just a few sprays and rubbing by hand followed by a rinse with warm water and they look good as new!! I’ve never seen anything that rinsed wax off that well!Pictures show how well even the white pad looks after cleaning and how much of the cleaner was used for cleaning all three once.
