Always handy to have this stuff around if you're working on modifying guitars! This is good conductive copper tape, and you get a pretty good amount for the price. It's on the thinner side, so you need to go slowly and carefully when working with it.

Used this to provide EMF shielding for a home-built guitar. Really like how malleable and sticky it is for the irregular surfaces it has to stick to. 1" is the perfect width for working into these cramped spaces - not so narrow that you have to use half a dozen layers, but not so wide that you can't work with it or that you need to trim it down.

I had a hum when my bass was plugged in - maybe 5-10% of volume in most environments, but annoying. Lining the cavity under my pick guard was easy and took maybe 30 minutes. After, I had almost no hum at all. Totally worth the small cost of $9! The product is very easy to use. Easy to trip with scissors, the back peels off easy and the adhesive allows you to adjust the tape, but holds firm once you push down hard.

The adhesive is conductive, so you'll have no issue shielding a guitar and making a bond with your ground.Works very well and a good value.

I’m using this copper tape for EMF shielding in my electric guitar. The continuity tests well, it’s easy to apply and has a good thickness. As with any copper tape, be very careful not to cut yourself as it’s razor sharp on the edges. There is a lot on the roll for a good price, it’s not as wide as other rolls I’ve gotten but there are more linear feet so it works out well.
