I received my case and LOVE it! I have read other reviews that talk about the latches not lining up; they absolutely do without any problem. I feel very confident that my cello is protected (way more than a soft case). I would NOT check this case into an airline (as luggage), but for storage and local transport, I have no doubt that this case will serve for many years and decades ahead. Buy with confidence!

I like the look and durability of the case. It is a bit heavy, but overall it does it's job. My only complaint is how difficult it can be to line up all the latches to get the case locked up.

It's nothing spectacular. There are too many clasps all the way around (instead of just on one side). The clasps are of poor enough quality they are a challenge to operate quickly. The internals are just a bunch of velvet lined blocks to hold it in place. But, those are the bad. The good is that it's generally sturdy and it probably protects well.
