Not the intended use, but it works. We were looking for a lock for our MinnKota trolling motor detachable mount. This one works great, it's unobtrusive and does the job, plus the shank is not exposed so it can't be cut with a bolt cutter

i am so happy with this lock. i use it on my travel trailer. it has a good size and it is easy to use i feel as if my rv is protected made woth good material. god value for my money.

This lock threads in and out instead of using a spring like traditional locks. In my opinion, that will help with corrosion and debris buildup inside the mechanism. The size is perfect for the trailer tongue clasp to lock it on to the car. About 1 1/4 inch.

This is a good add-on to another hitch lock that I have in use. It prevents the lever from being lifted up which releases the locking mechanism over the hitch, Ball. I’m not overly confident that a crowbar could not easily wedge between the lever and the lock and pry it open, so I rated it four out of five.It is primarily a deterrent so it serves its purpose.

1st they feel like they are made from pot metal. Very light and I honestly feel that one wack from a hammer and they will shatter. 2nd you have to turn the key to unscrew the lock takes 4 or 5 turns to remove it.

They would be hard to remove without a key given their just big enough size (which is a GREAT thing). Much better than other style and it has held up well to rain and dirt so far. I will spray regularly with silicone oil/grease to maintain the smooth working.
