I bought this to use in a chop saw for cutting blocks of graphite. Nasty stuff to cut, it creates horrendous dust. But it pretty much went right through it. It is tempting to back off a tad and go back at it, simply to cut the dust for a second, but for a smoother cut, if you are looking for a smooth surface on the cut part, I would advise going right through it in one motion.Otherwise, you tend to get more 'cut marks'.
