I had a more expensive version of this aerator that disappeared years ago. It probably became a sandbox toy!!!! This one works just as well. I like the ease of use and ability to clean. It comes with a base that can sit flat on a counter and allows the aerator to pop in the base for storage. I recommend this simple aerator. It is compact and looks nice in the cabinet or on the counter.
