I used two acrylic rods to support my ill-fitting aquarium canopy. They support the canopy without sagging. The rectangular shape is effective in holding the glass lid in place.

great price but quality of the cuts are not good. rough and uneven ends. was planning to use as stands but will need to sand ends down to make them even
