I am happy with my purchase. This is a decent neck for $50. Intonation was easy. The truss rod adjusts both tighter or looser without issue. This neck is comfortable enough as is, but it is really a little on the thick side so I have thinned it down with sand paper.

I was looking for a cheap neck for a making a scrapheap guitar. This works. It actually plays well, better than expected. Three stars because ... 1. the truss rod is too long. It looks like they used one from a 24 fret neck for whatever reason. If I ever have to adjust it, it will be a pain. This was visible in the photo but I did not realize how stupid it was from the photo. 2. I want to install a metal nut. The nut width is 3.4 mm. Standard replacement nut widths are all 3.5. This means that if I want to replace the nut, I will have file an extra mm from the cavity, which is cut into the fingerboard. If I was doing this again, despite the playability, I'd buy a different neck.
