Product Description

emergency weather radio

During natural disasters, common communication tools like cell phones and the internet may fail due to infrastructure damage.

Owning a emergency weather radio with a backup battery is crucial, as it ensures that your hand crank and solar powered emergency radio continues to function when it's most needed.

emergency hand crank radio

The high-capacity battery of 22200mWh allows the emergency weather radio to charge other devices through its USB output port.

In the event of a disaster, this feature can help maintain power supply to communication equipment and ensure the continuation of emergency communications.

hand crank radio

To ensure that the weather radio remains operational in any situation, our emergency radio offers 4 charging methods: hand crank, solar panel, Type-C interface, and rechargeable battery.

Either way you can effectively charge your radio whether outdoors or at home, even during long power outages.

Why choose an emergency radio with 3 modes flashlight?

  • Far Beam: Designed for distance lighting. It projects a strong, focused beam of light that can illuminate far-off objects or paths. This is particularly useful for navigating through dark, expansive outdoor environments.

  • Dipped Beam: Designed for energy efficiency and prolonged use, the low beam setting emits a softer light suitable for reading or performing tasks at close range without draining the battery quickly.

  • Far & Dipped Beam: This combined mode allows for both the Far and Dipped beams to function simultaneously, offering both reach and coverage. It’s extremely beneficial when you need a blend of distance and immediate area illumination.

SOS Alarm

When someone is lost, injured, or in danger, long pressing for 3 seconds to activate the SOS alert can alert nearby people or rescue teams of their location. The loud sound from a siren is designed to travel long distances and pass through obstacles, increasing the chance of being heard.

Reading Light

Integrating a reading light into the portable radio means there are fewer items to pack or remember in your emergency kit. Reading lights provide essential lighting during power outages, while camping outdoors, and to safely navigate around the home or other environments.

3.5mm Earphone Jack

In noisy environments or when information needs to be received quietly, using headphones allows individuals to listen to important updates from weather radios without disturbing others.

Small Size and Compass

This portable emergency radio, measuring 6.88 x 3.13 x 3.84 inches, easily fits into a backpack. Compasses are crucial for navigation, especially in environments without clear landmarks, such as in dense forests or at sea. They help hikers, explorers, and sailors find their way.

Here are some tips to ensure that your emergency weather radio is always ready for use:

>Activate the Internal Battery: If it's your first time using the emergency radio or if it has been idle for more than 60 days, crank the handle manually for 1 minute to activate the internal battery. This ensures the radio is powered and ready when you need it.

>Pre-trip Inspections: Before embarking on activities like camping or hiking, check your emergency solar radio to ensure it's functioning properly. This can prevent unpleasant surprises and ensure you have access to vital weather updates and emergency alerts in remote areas.

>Familiarize Yourself with Its Features: Spend some time learning how to use all the functions of your hand crank radio, save precious time during an emergency.

>Charge Regularly: Even if not in use, charge the hand crank emergency radio regularly using solar power, the hand crank, or via USB to keep the battery in good condition.

>By following these tips, you can maximize the reliability and effectiveness of your crank radio, keeping you informed and prepared no matter the situation.

Truly came in clutch as the eye of Milton went directly over us, helped us track the storm after everything else went out. Was able to charge phones from it etc. Reccomend everyone have one! Helped to keep from running generator too often as a back up battery for phones considering the gas shortages we faced. Truly was put to the test during Milton and I'm ordering another for my parents before the next hurricane season!

Lightweight and compact. The reading and flashlights are super bright. The radio is loud enough. The crank is absolute crap. Not terrible enough to take a star off because the radio itself is nice.

This is a great purchase. The quality, price, size, sound quality, easy to use in an emergency radio was one of the best purchases I’ve made! We just had a tornado come through where I live and was without power for days. This little radio. Gave me a place to charge my phone, has a flash light, has an sos button, solar power charge, easy crank handle, usb charging cord to charge the radio in your car, etc. great to have for natural disasters!!!!!

The battery was mostly charged right out of the box. I charged it the rest of the way, and leave sit on a window sill with lots of sun exposure. The solar charging seems to keep it alive. It's holding steady at 75% battery after hours of radio use. Weatherband, AM, and FM reception are all pretty good. I leave it on constantly with the alert function selected when not listening to radio. I've yet to have any severe weather around since buying it, but have no reason to believe the alert doesn't work. I'd buy this again.

I like that it is small and portable. Only thing that worked for my stranded friend in NC. I arrived without a cable. I would like the seller to remedy that.

Comme je viens de recevoir cette radio, je ne peux pas encore évaluer la durée de vie de la batterie ou son imperméabilité, mais je peux dire qu'avec ses diverses fonctions, c'est une radio très pratique!

It was a little smaller than I thought it would be because it has so many features. But they did an amazing job packing it into this little unit. The funny part was the kids loved the crank part. It only took a few turns and it was running one of their toys. Plus it’s water proof.Should be great for out door activities by the River. No longer have to worry if it gets wet and it can charge the phone in the sun while you are doing other things. Great price for such a neat unit.

I got this to have an "emergency radio" in the house. For the most part this unit seems to fit that bill. However, this radio does have one very annoying feature, and that is the loudness of the weather "alert" sound. Simply put, the "alert" (siren) is so loud/annoying that our family has already (after one attempted use of that feature) decided to not use it any more. This is a shame, as I would really like to get an alert when dangerous weather was in the area (which is what the "alert" function of this radio should provide). But having every "alert" be a very loud siren is just not acceptable to our family. Now I did check to see if there were any option to adjust the alert loudness, but I didn't find any such option. So it looks like the only way to avoid the loud siren is to avoid using all "alert" features of this radio!Thankfully the other features of this radio seem to work acceptably. In particular, I like the fact that I have a useful AM/FM/Weather radio that is small, easy to use, and comes with its own rechargeable battery. And the extra large battery is nice, as it means I should be able to get many hours of radio use in a power outage. And both the flashlights and USB charging could also come in handy in any power outage. Finally, this "emergency radio" can actually be charged by either the sun (with its builtin solar cell) or the included hand crank, should an extended power outage cause the battery to go dead. This means that you can essentially keep this radio working as long as needed should you have any extended power outage. All of these features make this a useful "emergency radio" to have in the house. I just wish the "weather alert" function was actually useful as well (vs having an unacceptably loud siren that triggers).
