I must admit when I opened the box and saw that the EH, was not in white as shown I was tempted to return the product. If an item is pictured a certain way that is what the customer expects. Aside from that it's a lovely piece of cookware, without having a vent hole as my other less expensive tagine it will flow out from under the lid. So know that and watch the amount of liquid is place into the tagine. Two slight disappointments about it.I did purchase the large one and I'm glad I did. Cleaning was very easy even when it over flowed and baked on in the oven. It is a bit heavy so care when washing so it doesn't slip out of your hands.

J’avais très hâte de lessayer mais la base est arrivée endommagée. L’emballage était en bon état mais il n’y avait qu’un peu de papier craft sur le dessus, aucun papier bulle à l’intérieur 😫

This item made of porcelain and is shipped in a store shelf box which has absolutely no protection from damage. BEWARE, you probably will have to reorder.

Excellent cooking pot and purchased at a great price. Has opened new culinary horizons for us. A very versatile, high quality pot. Learn how to use it and you will add a new dimension to cooking.

The Tagine itself is awesome. Still learning how to cook with it, but gone really well each time. Cooked on the gas hob, very quick with tender meat and veg (90min). Sauce doesn’t thicken though as very little steam escapes. Bottom has caught on the hob so diffuser might be needed. Tried on large and small burner on low heat. The burned bit is then difficult to clean afterwards. Slow cooked a curry in the oven too.. heat was too low and had to crank it up after a few hours to generate the steam). Was delicious though.Best part was the truly amazing customer service from Kim at Haus2. Thank you!

I love this tagine, this is my new favorite item to cook almost anything on top of my gas stove or in the oven. Every time I try any kind of meat it turns out so flavourful and melt in your mouth tender so far I have made a few moroccan tagine dishes, beef or lamb stew and soups. Very happy with this tagine.

Used it directly on the gas stove to make a lamb and apricot stew. Took about four hours, turned out amazing. It's super easy to clean up, and unlike other 'authentic' tagines, the knob on top _is_ cool enough to handle briefly. No steam holes, but it doesn't have a tight seal, so pressure is able to escape from under the lid; this means that some of the steam that escapes will condense and run down the sides, into your burner or cooking implement. This isn't a problem, but something to take into consideration. All in all, it's a cool cooking implement; I hope to use it frequently, and it's a much better use of your money than an authentic or glazed clay pot.

It was used very carefully ... Considering all instructions: And the second used cracked as was used. I am very upset with a product that is supposed high quality. It may be a fake?

Omg yum! I bought the 3.7 quart tagine and the 11" Kuhn Rikon 2080 flame diffuser and they work perfectly together on my high intensity commercial gas cooktop. I always have trouble with accidentally burning sautéed onions because of the high btu's of my cooktop. I made a couple of tagines in the oven using a cast iron skillet with foil lid shaped into a cone but they were nothing like my first real tagine over flame with the Emile Henry tagine. I know they're terribly expensive but I do think the quality of the finished product was far superior.
