I thought this was an actual tagine to cook in. It’s a serving dish. So I use it as a decorative piece on my table. It’s very beautiful and quality is nice. I just wish I actually read the description

Bought this piece for a friend that collects dishes from all over the world. It was very well packed. It is a beautiful piece of pottery and she was thrilled with this different way of cooking.

I find it terribly unfair to the Seller and future Buyers who may pass this tagine by based on negative reviews because the Purchaser did not read where it clearly states not for cooking use but for serving purposes only.This is a beautiful tagine. I use it after cooking in a cook proof version and serve in this. I also proudly display it.

This Tagin was very pretty, but I was not aware when I purchased it that it was only for display. You cannot cook in it. Who would make something so ridiculous? I’m very displeased and am returning it.
