This worked well for adding a few extra ports where I have a networked printer, PC, and IP phone without running an extra line or using up much space. It has been going strong for over a month now with no hiccups that I have noticed. The nice thing about this is that it is actually a 4-port switch, splitter is a bit misleading.

I was surprised at the build quality of it this networking equipment. I recently just got a new router that has four switches on it so I didn't really end up needing it however I really like that you still get the same speed on both ports of this switch. I tested it out and I feel like it's going to be a great switch once I start adding more hosts on to my network when I still want an ethernet connection. Ethernet is far superior over Wi-Fi even if you're getting 5G. So you will want to use as many ethernet ports as possible. I would say get this if you have a old Verizon router that only gives you two ethernet ports and there's barely any switch on the back of it. However be sure to check the back of your router and make sure you don't have multiple ports because you can just use those over using this.

I have a number of devices in my office and only one fiber line. So I used a media converter with a fiber SFP module and solved my problem. Now the office PC's, server and NAS are all hardwired and after swapping one device can be air gapped with the rest of the house.

This is pretty much as simple as things get when it comes to computer networks. All you need to do is plug in an ethernet cable from your internet modem and you will have access to multiple ports to connect your devices via hardwire cables. No software to download or configure. Even the ports are agnostic; you can use any of them for the input and the rest for outputs. It does come with a short USB cable to power the device but you will need your own AC power supply/adapter. I used an old Apple iPhone charger and it works fine.

I needed this to expand the number of LAN ports on a new router that I purchased. So far I have multiple devices plugged into it: a Dlink camera, an Ooma telephone box, a PS4, and a smart TV, and all work flawlessly (the PS4 I play remotely streamed to a handheld device, and that also works seamlessly). The router recognizes all devices as simply additional LAN connected devices and has no issues assigning IP addresses, etc. I love that any of the ports can be used as the input; very smart and flexible design. 5 strong stars!

This nice cheap little switch does a fine job of transferring a Gb signal. My computer tested at 900+ Mb/s on speedtest.net through this switch, which is around the max speed for my connection. Some other people have had trouble with consistency through it though, which may be from multiple high speed connections. It only uses a 5V power supply through USB, so it may struggle with higher loads. It also doesn't come with a power supply, so you'll have to provide one yourself. I think it would be a good use for hooking up multiple game systems to ethernet, and you'll only be using one at a time.

I was impressed by the build quality of the YEZriler Ethernet Splitter. The aluminum casing feels durable and sleek, giving it a premium look that stands out from other plastic options. Installation was truly plug-and-play; I had it up and running in moments without any complicated setup. The USB-C power cable is a nice touch, as it simplifies power management. This splitter has provided a steady, high-speed connection, consistently supporting my devices without interruption. Sharing the connection between two devices has been seamless, with no noticeable drop in performance. For anyone looking for a robust, easy-to-use solution to expand their wired network, this splitter is a fantastic choice.
